Having searched for the best part of what felt like a year to find a horse for the lovely Varley family, Jodie finally came across MJ on their 3rd consecutive trip to Ireland! He ticked all the boxes in terms of his traditional Irish breeding giving him blood and stamina, he is an out and out athlete and a super careful jumper with a fantastic brain; the only compromise being his size as even 16h is somewhat generous!

Having been beautifully started by Christine O'Donnell in Ireland with a couple of solid runs under his belt, MJ has come over to the UK and gone from strength to strength in very little time. In 4 months, he has jumped round 5 novices double clear with 3 x 2nd place finishes, culminating in a top 25 finish adding nothing to a respectable dressage test at the Cornbury 6yo Championships! Jodie couldn't be more excited about this talented young horse's future, proving great things come in small packages and extremely grateful to Amanda and Lucy for all their support, exciting times ahead!
