"The Magic One" is One to Watch's third filly by the French Olympic show jumping stallion "Jaguar Mail". "One to Watch" was by the Holsteiner show jumper "Condios" and out of TB "Primitive Rising" mare "Lady Tiggi Winkle" who Jodie competed up to CCI 3* level. One to Watch is also a half sister to Jodie's first successful homebred "One of a Kind" by Jumbo and ridden at Advanced & CCI-L 4* level by Matt Heath and more recently gaining Olympic qualification with NZ rider James Avery.

Although she looks absolutely nothing like her older full sister who is half her size, "The Magic one" is another very quality mare who represents some of the best TB lines going back to the prolific French stallions "Laudanum" & "Hand in Glove" making her a very modern event type.

Given her sheer size as a 3yo reaching at nearly 17h, it was decided to give Margie another year to grow and mature without any pressure of being ridden and she was put her in foal to Christopher Burton's jumping stallion "Caliber Royale". The outcome was another stunning colt, a top quality young horse as Jodie's breeding operation now expands to the fourth generation of youngstock!

Margie has since been backed and is proving to have the same extravagant paces as her siblings, loads of scope and the most wonderful temperament, extremely trainable and very eager to please. We look forward to following her progress with her new owner Beth Symington.
